If you plan to buy drinking water filter, let me give you a little 'about some of the most popular. I watched the top ten products in the market and, believe me. Some of them are not very effective.
You see the Brita water filter that is applied everywhere. Both pitchers and faucet mount styles are very popular. They sell in stores and on television.
Water Filter
They are Bleach Clorox Co. You can buy very cheap, butThis type of drinking water filter has a very short duration. So, for use in the long run, cost more than other more effective.
The pitcher is only about 75% of chlorine and 93% of the lead. The list of things that do not remove much, much more. The faucet mount device is effective, but still does not remove THMs, VOCs and MTBE.
THMs or trihalomethanes are released when chlorine interacts with aquatic life, bacteria,Algae, etc. They are known to cause human cancer. There are many water filters on the market to remove. It is not that hard, but for some reason Brita decided to abandon the movement.
VOCs are volatile organic compounds. There is debate about the substances that are not volatile organic compounds. But most are gases like methane and compounds such as perchlorate, which are flammable or explosive.
Why you need a drinking problemWater filter that removes them? Some of them cause cancer. Other disrupt the endocrine system. However, there are others to mess with the thyroid gland, which can cause many health problems. None of them are good for your health. Most of them are in your water. Perchlorate has been found only in about 800 different bodies.
MTBE seeps into groundwater from leaking underground gasoline storage tanks. It 's just a "possible"carcinogen. But does not affect taste and odor. to remove only two of drinking water filter on the market, MTBE.

Brita water filters are the so-called "alternative economy", bottled and tap water. But in reality they are the best alternative available? And perhaps most important, are the best way to filter?
Let not be fooled by the fact that the Brita water filter cleaning better "-selling 'on the market. The only reason this is so true, because they are sold in most stores at bargain prices. Costs have real high to get a new filtereach month.
Water Filter
First, what kind of quality you expect from Brita water filters? Well, any kind of pitcher and pour-through filters is very limited in terms of performance, filter, mainly because of their size. They are not effective in getting rid of many types of pollutants, such as cysts, THM (chlorine derivative), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, herbicides and harmful solvents.
They also sell tap water filter. Brita water filters that produce finalImproved water quality that water through the exhaust. But it still does not filter out things as additives for fuels and VOCs, which include many types of harmful organic chemicals.
But I think the real issue of accessibility. It is expected that the systems of Brita water filters are the cheapest available, and I think this is true initially.
